Presenting Partner deal with Crown Casino will give online gambling group great brand mileage
 
The UK and Australia online gambling group Betfair has clinched a valuable deal with Crown Casino in Melbourne that will see the company's brand achieving prime coverage during the 2013 Aussie Millions poker tournament.
 
As Presenting Partner at the tournament, Betfair's branding will appear in a number of premium locations, including each table in the tournament area.
 
The Australian operation of Betfair is the only licensed betting exchange in the country, where the company supports racing and sporting bodies via the payment of product fees and sponsorships.
 
Greg Hawkins, Crown Casino's chief executive, said Thursday: "The Aussie Millions is Crown’s marquee poker event, and there is terrific alignment between these great, established brands. Sport is an enormous part of Australian culture, and Betfair’s unique betting exchange is a fantastic complement to the Aussie Millions and our poker patrons."
 
The tournament is scheduled to start January 17 and will continue to February 3, 2013.
