Multiple changes and new features
 
UK bookmaker and online gambling firm Betfred has upgraded the look of its poker lobby along with the addition of new features that include:
 
–     New interface
 
–     New games including progressive slot jackpots
 
–     A hands played counter, which shows how many lifetime hands a player has played as well as the amount of sessions they have played
 
–     VIP club points display, this shows how many award points players have, these are points which players can convert
 
–     A bonus banner which shows how much bonus a player has and how much they have to play until they receive their next release
 
In addition to these changes, Betfred has introduced a new points accumulation system applicable from March 1 that it says will be more streamlined and lead to a better understanding of player's benefits and rewards.
 
A new loyalty plan will kick-off on April 1 where the Betfred Award Point will be implemented alongside the loyalty plan.  Players will be credited bonuses as they play and a simpler system will be in place for player's to cash in points for a variety of different bonuses and awards.
 
Last but not least, the rake at the site's cash tables will be calculated according to "weighted contribution" as a part of its new and upgraded VIP system already instituted from March 5. The higher a player contributes to a raked pot, the more points they will receive. Additionally players on EUR and GBP tables will receive more points per rake.
