Poker pro Beth Shak still scrapping with ex-husband

Attractive poker pro Beth Shak had stress of a different kind to deal with this week in clashes with former husband and wealthy New York hedge fund manager Daniel Shak, according to the New York Post.

The two divorced 3 years ago, but Daniel now claims that an allegedly hidden treasure house of 1,200 pairs of designer shoes belonging to his poker-playing wife may entitle him to hundreds of thousands of dollars more in their divorce settlement.

Beth denies concealing her internationally famous shoe collection (the newspaper reports that she has a tattoo of Christian Louboutin stiletto, she loves shoes so much)

“I’m shaking my head over this whole thing,” she told the newspaper. “He is saying he didn’t know the closet in our master bedroom existed.”

Her former husband, himself a tough poker player, remains undeterred, reportedly asking a court near their old family home in suburban Philadelphia for an accounting of her shoes, which he estimates is worth around $1 million, and claiming 35 percent of that value.

The Post reports that Beth revealed in an interview last year that her collection includes 700 pairs of shoes by the designer Christian Louboutin. “To me, his shoes are like fine art,” she told The Post last year.
