Micro Tournament Series Guarantees $120,000 in Prize Money. 100 Events Scheduled, from June 17th to 30th. Check it out here.
The Online Poker Room’s most affordable and all-inclusive online poker tournament series will allow recreational and micro stakes poker players of all levels, abilities and bankroll sizes to get involved and win big prize money for a tiny outlay. Players should save a couple of bullets for two “Micro High Roller” online poker tournaments, the $22 buy-in $20,000 GTD NLHE Main Event, and an $11 entry $10,000 GTD 6-Max No Limit Hold’em (NLHE) event a week prior on Saturday, June 22nd.
“Players who kill it at the virtual tables will enjoy winning the cash, no question, but this Micro poker series is as much about giving more of our poker players a taste of competing in a big series with major tournament action, without breaking the bank. Plus, it’s a great launch pad for those who are new to the game, or keen to test their skills in something other than Hold’em,” said Chris Lane, a spokesperson for BetOnline Poker.
While many of the events are NLHE, there’s also plenty of variety to be found in this series designed to cater for all appetites, featuring a range of game types, popular formats and tournament speeds, including Hyper, Turbo, Pot Limit Omaha, Texas 6+, Fixed Limit Hold’em, Boost Poker, Progressive Knockout Bounties, Triple Add-on, Ante Up, Heads Up, Freezeout, Shootout and so much more.
The “Micro” schedule adds five tournaments to the regular Monday to Friday line-up throughout the run of the series, each one starting on the hour between 6pm and 10pm ET. The weekends will offer an extended schedule on both days, events happening from 12pm to 9pm ET on Saturday, and 9am to 11pm ET on Sunday. Check it out here.
