HERO GAMING LAUNCH BETSER SPORTSBOOK

Social twist on traditional sports betting offer.

Malta-based software developer and operator Hero Gaming has launched Betser sportsbook, a product based on the same gamification behind its Casino Heroes success story, which aims to offer customers a new and more entertaining way to bet on sports.

Hero Gaming collaborated with NHL players Nicklas Bäckström and Carl Hagelin during the development of Betser, saying their feedback during product development helped the company develop a sportsbook where the competitive element is raised to a social level.

Betser offers an innovative concept in Balls and Brains, a reward system based on players courage and skills.  Depending on a player’s betting style, trusting their gut or taking a more calculated bet minimizing risk, punters will be rewarded with Balls or Brains that will impact their player profile. Balls and Brains can be exchanged for free bets in the locker room.

"Weve long been under the impression that innovation related to sports betting has in many respects been standing still in recent years, where only minor changes have been made to existing products. Instead, we have tried to look at sports betting from a new perspective in order to offer a more entertaining experience," Kristofer Bergdahl, chief marketing officer of Hero Gaming, said.
