The Football Pools in deal with Betup

SPORTECHS THE FOOTBALL POOLS IN DEAL WITH BETUP
 
Deal brings in-play betting to Football Pools customers for the first time.
 
Sportech plc subsidiary The Football Pools has inked an agreement to offer the BetUp second-screen live betting game from Commologic, bringing in-play betting to its punters for the first time.
 
BetUp will be rolled out across desktop and mobile in time for the new English Premier League football season, with a mobile app to follow shortly after.
 
The BetUp product will cover all major games of both U.K. and major European Leagues including Champions League and Europa League.
 
Conleth Byrne, managing director of The Football Pools said, "Adding in-play betting is a natural evolution for us. BetUp brings an exciting, engaging, and live game that we are sure will prove popular with our 200,000 or more weekly customers."
 
The Football Pools will be joining the BetUp pools network alongside Unibet Sports and Racebook.
