British Horseracing Authority partners with Genius Sports

BHA SELECTS GENIUS SPORTS MONITORING

Strengthens sports integrity measures.

The British Horseracing Authority has selected Genius Sports to provide an automated price monitoring system to enhance its integrity analysts’ ability to identify and investigate irregular betting patterns in real-time.

The Price Monitoring System, delivered via Genius Sports’ proprietary Sport Integrity Monitor (SportIM) platform, will monitor live betting prices, industry averages and odds fluctuations from all major bookmakers via a desktop application.

The deal covers the fixtures across the entire British racing calendar, totalling nearly 1,500 per year.

“In order to ensure that the BHA remains at the forefront of integrity monitoring it is appropriate that we ensure the systems which we use are intelligent, agile and efficient,” Robin Mounsey, spokesperson for the BHA, said. “We look forward to working with Genius Sports to develop our capability in this essential area.”
