Samvo Betting Cafe in Camden, London recorded their biggest payout on a bet when an IT worker won GBP 72 570 on a horseracing bet.
 
The GBP 15 wager was placed on a combination of singles, doubles, trebles and a fourfold accumulator and three of the four selections came in at three separate racecourses.
 
The lucky punter said he plans on using his winnings to get a foot on the property ladder.
 
“This is the biggest bet we’ve ever paid out on in this shop and we’re delighted that it has gone to one of our regulars. Selecting three winners in one day is no mean feat, but to pick them at such long odds is a fantastic achievement. We all hope he’s very happy in his new home – but comes back to see us very soon,” said Rob Smith, manager of Samvo Camden.
