GreenTube subsidiary focuses on expansion in North America

Novomatic Group-owned Greentube has acquired a controlling interest in Canadian social gaming firm BlueBat Games for an undisclosed consideration.

The City of Vancouver-situated company provides developers the ability to “socialise” their games on browser and mobile platforms and developed Greentube’s turnkey private label social casino marketing platform, Greentube Pro.

"We worked closely with the BlueBat team on a number of projects in the past year," said Thomas Graf, chief executive officer of Greentube Internet Entertainment Solutions GmbH.

"After the launch of Greentube Pro, it became apparent that BlueBat and Greentube's approach to social gaming were in direct alignment. The Acquisition was the next logical step in our progression."
