Betting partnership signed
The famous UK football club, Arsenal, has inked a three-year, Asian-facing betting partnership deal with on line betting group Bodog in a multi-million pound sterling agreement.
Bodog will have the rights to capitalise on Arsenal's Asian fanbase and popularity post-international tours by connecting with millions of supporters in Asia. The company will also have the opportunity to develop marketing initiatives and consumer promotions, generate content with Arsenal first-team players and use the club’s database to provide fans in Asia with tailored betting offers around matches.
Vinai Venkatesham, head of global partnerships at Arsenal said: “Our tours give our fans beyond the UK a great opportunity to see the team in action, and the latest Asian tour was no different with our first-team squad playing in front of hundreds of thousands of passionate supporters.
"As our fanbase in Asia continues to grow rapidly, working in partnership with companies like Bodog who have long-term roots in the region, provides a strong platform to further engage with Arsenal fans in Asia.”
