Backs launch with extensive marketing campaign

The Intertain Group Limited’s recently acquired Botemania brand was one of the first to market with the launch of slots in the Spanish market today.

The company will support the launch with a cross-channel marketing campaign that will include extensive TV advertising and the introduction of super hero Boteman.

"Botemania is already the number one bingo operator in Spain, and launching slots is a natural extension of providing a full bingo-led gaming experience," said John Kennedy FitzGerald, president and chief executive officer of Intertain. "We have the strongest product suite in the industry and the early reaction from our customers is indicative of how long the market has been waiting for us."
According to FitzGerald, slot title ”La Isla de Tiki" was proving to be very popular, “Spaniards were spinning the reels over 200 times per minute in the first half hour of activity,” he said.
The Intertain Group attributes its speed to market to the GameSys team who it said had worked tirelessly to lead the charge in getting the product suite ready for launch day.

Botemania offers its range of slot titles through a coordinated effort between Gamesys, High5Games and WMS Gaming.
