Tuesday June 11,2013 : FORMER ABSOLUTE POKER EXEC OUT OF JAIL

Brent Beckley released after serving 10 months of a 14 month sentence.

US media reports indicate that Brent Beckley, one of the founders of Absolute Poker in 2003 and a key financial exec in the company in its heyday, was released from prison last Thursday having served just 10 months of a 14 month prison sentence.

Unconfirmed reports are that Beckley's mother posted a vid of his release last Friday on Facebook which was subsequently removed.

In late July last year Beckley was sentenced after pleading guilty to money laundering and bank fraud offences, with U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan sending him to jail for 14 months.
