Department of Justice prosecutors better bring their A-game to their pursuit of Bitcoin online casino operator Bryan Micon, who has reportedly cut a deal that will allow him to return to the United States and face his accusers. And he has hired a top defence team to help him clear his name.

Our readers will recall that Micon and his family departed the States for Antigua following a raid on his Las Vegas home by Nevada authorities and police earlier this year.

The usually reliable Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that a US judge has lifted the warrant for Micon's arrest in order that he might return to the US, where he will be defended by a legal team led by David Chesnoff – famous for his successful defence of Paul Phua in the high profile 2014-2015 World Cup illegal sports gambling case in Nevada.

Micon will appear at a hearing on Thursday June 25 in connection with charges arising from his alleged involvement in operating the Sealswithclubs online gambling site, which accepted the virtual currency Bitcoin and closed in February amidst reports of management disagreements and enforcement surveillance.

Micon has since launched a new and apparently entirely separate online casino branded SwCPoker.eu based in Antigua and Bitcoin denominated.
