Bryan Micon Tried To Buy Lock Poker

Friday May 1,2015 :  ONLINE POKER OPERATOR OFFERED TO BUY LOCK POKER

SWC founder Bryan Micon was confident he could make troubled online poker company a success.

All sorts of interesting information tidbits have emerged from court papers filed in the Nevada Attorney General's prosecution of Seals With Clubs alleged founder and chairman Bryan Micon  but the most intriguing of these comes from the report of a Nevada Gaming Control Board undercover agent who was part of the investigating team on the case.

In his report, Agent Ricardo Lopez reveals what seems to have been an attempt by Micon to buy the deeply troubled Lock Poker operation from its alleged CEO, the much-criticised Jennifer Larson.

Lopez testifies that whilst examining the contents of Micon's seized computer following a raid on the Seals With Clubs founder's residence, he came across a Skype message addressed to "Jennifer" which made the following approach:

"Hi Jennifer, I’m interested in buying the Lock Poker brand and all its software assets. You can give me a quick google and see that I started SealsWithClubs.eu in 2011 and amassed a considerable wealth with the increase in Bitcoin price. I plan to relaunch the brand and make all players whole. I consider Lock Poker like Chrysler of the early 90’s. It’s a strong brand that needs a turn-around."

There is no record of any response, but our readers will recall that Lock Poker has been effectively hors de combat since April 17, and CEO Larson appears to have dropped out of sight and contact. The company's Curacao online gambling licence has apparently been invalidated, and there is no response to communications from the many players with long outstanding payments.
