Two hearings scheduled For California Online Poker

Two hearings scheduled.
 
Further information is now available on the planned joint informational hearings on the legalization of online poker by California's Senate and Assembly Government Organization committees
 
The first hearing is titled “Overview of Gambling in California; Legality, Authorization and Regulation” and will take place on May 20 at 1:30pm PST.
 
The second hearing “The Legality of Internet Poker: How Prepared Is California to Regulate It?” will be held on June 24 at 1:30pm PST.
 
Four competing bills are currently on the state legislature's agenda at committee stage, authored by Senator Isadore Hall, Assemblyman Adam Gray, Assemblyman Reggie Jones-Sawyer and Assemblyman Mike Gatto
