Casino777 Enters Belgian Online Gambling Market

A deal in which online operator Casino770 partnered with Belgian company Casino de Spa came to fruition this week with the launch of a new multi-lingual Belgian online casino site.
 
Taking full advantage of the new (and it must be said controversial) Belgian laws on internet gambling, the new Belgian website Casino770.be is available in French, English, German and Dutch and offers a variety of promotions, offers and competitions.
 
Until recently, the Belgian government had full control of the gaming industry in Belgium and online casino games were banned under the law of 7 May 1999, unless the site had a specific agreement with the Commission des Jeux de Hazard (Belgium Gaming Commission).
 
However, since January 2011, owners of physical casinos are now entitled to an online casino licence, opening the way to profitable partnerships with online gambling operators. The new Belgian licence offers legal online gaming, as is available in other countries in the European Union under the control of national regulators.
