New Bitcoin online gambling website

Saturday September 5,2015 :  NEW VIRTUAL CURRENCY GAMBLING SITE OPENS

Bitcoin-denominated Chopcoin has a different take on gambling.

Six unnamed German entrepreneurs have launched a new Bitcoin-denominated online gambling website using proprietary technology and introducing a novel form of gambling not dissimilar to the old Pac-man game.

Branded Chopcoin.io, the site has proved popular in its first few days post-launch and invites players to buy-in to a game in which each controls a small, fast-moving orb using a computer mouse to change direction.

The objective is to "eat" the smaller orbs of other players online in the multi-player game, with "rounds" lasting for ten minutes and the winner the biggest orb and survivor.

The owners take a rake on the buy-ins to sustain the business.

Players can only eat orbs smaller than their own, and at the same time avoid being absorbed by other players with bigger orbs, which kicks them out of the game. Adding another layer of skill, the larger one's orb, the slower (and therefore more vulnerable) it becomes, and the more difficult it is to catch the smaller, more agile players.

Successful players are, however, allowed to split large orbs into smaller and faster ones…but that increases their risk of being swallowed by larger competitors.

Adding an arcade element to the action, players can use parts of their orbs to project "bombs" at competitors to hamper their efforts.

The buy-ins are structured by size across three different "playgrounds" with Low Roller entrants paying 0.0001 Bitcoin; Main Roller buy-ins at 0.005 BTC; and High Rollers at 0,01 BTC. A fourth playground is offered free so that new players can become familiar with the game without having to deposit on the outcome.
