LAClippers vs. Oklahoma City Thunder

Wednesday January 23, 2013 :  NBA Preview : Los Angeles Clippers vs. Oklahoma City Thunder

The Return of Blake Griffin in Los Angeles as they take on the Oklahoma Thunder at home. Both teams are among the best in the NBA and this should be a great playoff preview showdown.

LA Clippers

Blake Griffin and the LA Clippers are having an amazing year with a 32-9 record. Tonight will be one of their toughest tests as they take on the Thunder who have almost the same record. Griffin who leads the team in points also leads in rebounds, and the Clippers will be expecting a lot from him tonight. At home the Clippers have a 19-3 record and are looking to continue their current six game winning streak. Unfortunately, assists leader Chris Paul is out with an injury day to do, so his presence will be missed come tonight’s game.

Oklahoma City Thunder

Oklahoma has a winning streak of their own to continue with four wins under their belt. Their overall record is a very impressive 32-8 and their road record is also a very impressive 13-5; exactly the same as Los Angeles. The Thunder will be without Serge Ibaka who is out day-to-day as he leads the team in rebounds. Russell Westbrook leads in assists and steal so expect him to create many plays.

Many online sports books, have the Clippers listed as the favorites, but this should be an extremely close game. . Oklahoma on average allows 105.7 points while the Clippers only allow 101.6. That may be the deciding factors in tonight’s game.
