Colin Cole-Johnson Joins Rank Group

Colin Cole-Johnson heads for the Rank Group.
 
Colin Cole-Johnson, IT expert and former executive with both the William Hill and Ladbrokes groups, is making a shrewd career move in joining Rank Group plc come September this year.
 
As director of digital and cross-channel services he will report directly to Rank's chief executive Henry Birch on all matters pertaining to Rank's extensive online and mobile gambling offering. He will additionally join the Rank exco, interacting with Mecca md Mark Jones and Grosvenor md Phil Urban.
 
Announcing Cole-Johnson's appointment, Birch said:
 
“Colin has over 15 years international digital gaming experience and, having worked with him previously at William Hill, I know he will be a great addition to the team.
 
“Rank is already the leading online bingo operator and Colin will be instrumental in ensuring we continue to drive growth and innovation in all our digital businesses whilst looking for opportunities to consolidate our position as a true multi-channel business,” Birch added.
