New Coral Sportsplay game will launch on Facebook before end February
The latest entrant into the play-money social betting sector will launch on Facebook before the end of this (February) month, according to a statement from Coral Interactive.
Coral is gearing up to launch 2Bet2-powered Coral Sportsplay, an app that will enable social gaming fans to bet on both real and virtual sporting events and share their results.
Matt Prevost, marketing director for Coral Interactive, said Tuesday: “We know that many of our customers, both current and potential, are keen Facebook users. Giving them a Coral social gaming option on Facebook allows them to try their betting skills and test their sports knowledge without risk.”
Prevost said that in addition to standard virtual bets, the new free-to-play game will also offer tournaments and player vs. player contests.
“We have invested considerable expertise and resources in the development of our Facebook social sports game,” said Adriaan Brink, CEO of Socialitize. “We are delighted that Coral have adopted 2Bet2 Social Betting as the base for their chosen Facebook app.”
It is understood that the companies will collaborate on the development of further mobile projects in the near future.
