Developer adds support for virtual currency in poker client
 
Swedish software developer Cubeia will integrate Bitcoin currency in its B2B poker network to support the company's expansion into new markets.
 
Fredrik Johansson, chief executive of Cubeia says the adoption of the decentralised, peer-to-peer currency is the next logical step in the online gambling sector providing players with the convenience of immediate cash-outs without transaction costs.
 
“Cubeia has followed the evolution of Bitcoin closely the last couple of years and we’re convinced it is here to stay. We’re very happy to be able to offer the B2B market an opportunity join this exciting frontier.”
 
Bitcoin support will be added to its HTML5 Cubeia Poker client through the Cubeia Network and Cubeia's Firebase server platform.
