Sudden departure after eleven years in the role
 
David Loveday, chief executive officer of Openbet has left his role with immediate effect to pursue other opportunities according to a company statement released Wednesday.
 
Loveday has held the position for 11 years, ably leading Openbet's acquisition strategy and expansion into regulated markets.
 
Openbet's existing management team will take over Loveday's responsibilities along with independent private equity firm Vitruvian Partners.
