Mac users can now gamble online in Delaware

Monday June 23,2014 :  DELAWARE EXPANDS ONLINE GAMBLING RANGE

Mac users can now gamble online in the First State.

Online gamblers who prefer Mac hardware can now gamble in Delaware following the state lottery's decision to increase technical accessibility for all Delaware residents.

Local radio station WDDE reports that widening the range of accessibility now allows Mac punters to use all of Delaware's three internet casino sites without having to download the software.

“The success of internet gaming for the state, the casinos, and players depends on creating a fun and easy experience for everyone,” Secretary of Finance Tom Cook said Friday.

“We’re excited to offer an iGaming option that doesn’t require a poker download, and we’re thrilled Mac users can now participate.”

Cook said that the upgrade represents the first time that Mac and PC users will all be able to log on since Delaware’s first phase of online gaming went live almost ten months ago. In addition, four new blackjack games including multi-hand options have been added and Harrington Raceway has added two new video lottery games.
