Mac-compatible action, bigger games choice and mobile access all due in the next few months….

State lottery officials in Delaware say they’re making progress on expanding internet gaming options launched in October this year, the local radio station WDDE FM reports after interviewing lottery chief Vernon Kirk.

Kirk revealed that in the first three months of legalization 3,800 people registered accounts for the service, which can be accessed through the websites of Delaware’s three land casinos. They have wagered $8.2 million, he said, adding that comprehensive statistics won’t be available until mid-January 2014.

The lottery chief said that his organisation is now focused on providing software compatible with Mac operating systems, expanding game and slot content and making the entire system accessible on mobile devices.

“All these things are coming over the next handful of months," he said. "There’s no real definitive timetable, but they’re coming. And all these things will contribute to the popularity of the site and help our customers have a better experience.”
