DGA Cooperating with European Gambling Countries

Multi-jurisdictional cooperation on the cards
 
Dutch Gambling Authority Chairman Jan Suyver said the Kansspelautoriteit is poised to sign letters of intent with its counterparts in Belgium, France and Denmark working towards cooperation in combating illegal gambling.
 
"The Gambling Authority will work closely with colleagues in other countries," Suyver told BNR news radio.  "But we can only commence the real cooperation once the Dutch online law comes into force".
 
Suyver intimated that a cooperation agreement with the British Gambling Commission was also on the cards effectively creating a coalition across Europe that will "channel the average player to licensed online operators which in effect will suppress illegal operations."
