DRONE RACING FROM PINNACLE

Innovative betting offer a first, says sports betting operator.

UK sports betting operator Pinnacle is claiming a first in the launch of its new Drone Racing betting market.

Pinnacle will offer odds, initially on the outright winner, of the Drone Racing World Championships to be held in Hawaii from 20-22 October 2015.

According to Pinnacle, Drone Racing has emerged through the rapid expansion in drone ownership worldwide helped by significant reductions in drone size and cost. The natural aspiration of these budding pilots is a starting spot at the World Championships.

“Drone Racing has come from nowhere to be ‘the next big thing’ in tech sports innovation,” explains Harry Lang, marketing director at Pinnacle. “It’s fast paced, hugely exciting and has a low barrier of entry for new competitors.
