The Japanese soft drink maker DyDo Drinco Inc. has launched its first roulette multi-lingual vending machine, where a user can win an additional free drink if the machine's "roulette wheel" delivers the lucky Chinese number 8888.
 
Located in the Namba district of Osaka, the machine is the first of 100 units scheduled for operation in the popular tourist centres of Osaka and Kyoto this summer as the soft drink company tries to assess what non-Japanese tourists prefer.
 
The machines offer business in English, Chinese, Korean or Japanese.
