EPT Prague On Demand High Roller Events

Six-figure victory for Spanish player.
In a third response to player demand for another High Roller competition this week  the European Poker Tour Prague organized a Euro 25,500 buy-in tournament, but this time the response was a little lower, with just 16 players and 8 re-entries recorded for the single-day event.
Among those who entered but did not reach the final table were Daniel Dvoress, Nick Petrangelo, and Isaac Haxton, who finished as the bubble boy at sixth in this fast, aggressive but very amiable competition.
That left a final table that comprised Spain's Sergi Reixach, Ali Reza Fatehi from Iran, Irish ace Steve O'Dwyer, Greek pro Alexandros Kolonias and Jean-Noel Thorel of France, with the latter holding the chip lead.
However, it was Reixach and Fatehi who finished in the heads up phase of the game after O'Dwyer was eliminated at third for Euro 95,550 despite a determined attempt at a fight-back. It was a disappointment for the Irish pro, perhaps ameliorated by his winnings of Euro 124,050 and Euro 58,200 in the two previous "player demand" high roller events.
The heads up was a brief affair in which Reixach cleverly leveraged a small chip advantage to quickly oust Fatehi, sending him home with the Euro 149,940 second placing prize and claiming the Euro 217,550 main prize for himself.
Kolonias and Thorel respectively won Euro 69,100 and Euro 55,860 for their fourth and fifth position prizes.
