888poker Appoints Erika Schwartz Poole

Erika Schwartz Poole takes up responsibilities as head of operator's live events and partnerships
 
Following her appointment in October, Erika Schwartz Poole has taken up her duties as head of 888Poker‘s live events and offline partnerships division.
 
Holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications, Poole is a graduate of Emerson University and holds dual UK-USA citizenship status…a handy facility with 888 activities in the United States growing through partnerships with American companies.
 
Poole worked in the Boston and LA music and entertainment industries after graduation before moving to the UK to work for an internet hosting firm and a magazine. She spent a year with Party Gaming as events manager in London before moving to the company's World Poker Tour subsidiary as marketing manager.
 
In 2006 she started a five-year tenure as marketing manager with online poker operator PKR.com in London before resigning to start her own consultancy business in 2011, followed by her appointment this year as events and partnerships manager for 888Poker.
