EuroPartners Exits Canada

Thursday May 12,2016 : NO PLAYTECH FOR CANADIANS?

Reports that Euro Partners has exited the market for reasons unknown.

Reports circulating late Thursday are that Euro Partners, a prominent affiliate management firm for Playtech powered operations, exited the Canadian market on May 1 after advising affiliates that its operators will no longer be accepting business from Canada or Australia.

No reason was given for the withdrawal, according to the reports, which has triggered some speculation that the leaked Panama Papers may have something to do with the sudden decision.

Apparently affiliates were asked late April to advise their players that they will no longer be accepted by Playtech-powered casinos such as Europa Casino, Titan Casino and Casino Tropez, effective May 1, with all accounts barred from that date.

When InfoPowa went to press Thursday night official confirmation of such a move was still awaited.

Observers point out that Euro Partners made a similar exit back in late 2013, again without giving reasons; the network returned to Canada after a relatively brief absence.
