Flutterclub Bitcoin Betting Site To Launch

Thursday December 11,2014 : IRISH EYES ON THE ASIAN BITCOIN CASINO MARKET

Flutterclub.com ready to launch under an Irish licence.

Asian online punters who like the idea of betting with Bitcoins can look forward to a new entrant in that region soon as Irish-licensed online gambling operator Flutterclub.com prepares to launch.

The Irish Times reports that the English and Chinese language site will offer online casino and sports betting action with Asia its main target.

John Flynn, sportsbook manager for the new enterprise, told the newspaper that games such as blackjack, roulette and baccarat can be played through any browser, levelling the playing field further as rogue gamers cannot gain an upper hand by using third-party add-on software.

“We will also be adding some other cryptocurrencies from the Ripple network to the platform in 2015, which will help us build our customer base,” he said.

The Flutterclub platform was provided by online gambling software provider SoftSwiss Casino, and has already acquired thousands of Chinese and English-speaking players in pre-launch promotional activity.

Since it was introduced in 2009 by an anonymous programmer, or programmers, Bitcoin has fluctuated unpredictably in price. After reaching its peak at about $1,150 late last year, the price has been in a prolonged slide.

In August, the price dipped on one exchange to around $300 from nearly $500.

In July, the European Commission said that it will try to impose rules on virtual currencies, such as Bitcoin, motivated by a European Banking Authority assertion that banks shouldn’t buy, hold or sell virtual currencies until regulators develop safeguards.
