Fortuna Entertainment In Deal With Playtech

FORTUNA ENTERTAINMENT SIGNS WITH PLAYTECH
 
Online gambling software provider to supply full multi-channel betting and gaming platform.
 
The Central and Eastern European online gambling group Fortuna Entertainment Group N.V. announced Thursday that it has signed a contract with online gambling software and games provider Playtech plc for the supply of a multi-channel betting and gaming platform.
 
A company spokesman said in a statement that the Playtech platform will provide Fortuna with the necessary tools to accelerate the company’s strategy implementation with a Fortuna-customised and scalable multi-channel solution that includes e-wallet technology, Sports book, Gaming and CRM facilities.
 
Referring to the deal, Per Widerström, Fortuna´s CEO commented:
 
“Fortuna’s ambition is to become the leading regulated multi-channel and product operator in the CEE region. The Playtech platform, being customized for Fortuna’s needs, will enable us to offer a market leading scalable multi-channel, product and jurisdiction offering. Partnering with Playtech, will also help us when it comes to further potential territorial and product expansion.”
 
Mor Weizer, Playtech’s CEO added:
 
“Having so successfully launched the Fortuna brand in Romania, Playtech is delighted to partner with the Fortuna Entertainment Group with respect to the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia as well as future potential new regulated markets."
