NFL Betting – Four Teams to Watch For in 2013

While everyone is getting ready to bet on the Super Bowl, the professional football bettors are already looking towards next season. The 2012 season was exciting and interesting. It had a lot of drama that could spill over into next year. The 2012 season also saw a class of rookie quarterbacks that the world has not seen since 1983. All of this sets up for an exciting 2013 NFL season, and these are the four teams every football fan should keep an eye on as the season unfolds.

Seattle Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks has almost all of the pieces it needs to be a Super Bowl contender in 2013. Quarterback Russell Wilson gained some valuable experience this season that he will use to help guide his team to better things for next year. Seattle needs to work on bringing in more athletic linebackers to try and keep pace with other NFC teams such as San Francisco and Minnesota. But the world definitely expects to see the Seattle Seahawks competing in 2013.

Miami Dolphins

Saying that the Miami Dolphins will be a significantly improved football team in 2013 is not as much of a stretch as some people may think. Look for the Dolphins to make up grades in the defensive secondary and at wide receiver this offseason. Miami may also reach out and try to bring in a veteran tight end to help in the development of quarterback Ryan Tannehill. If Miami makes the right moves this offseason, it could be looking at that coveted second place position in the AFC East right behind the New England Patriots.

New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints will have head coach Sean Payton back for next season, and that may be all the team needs to compete. The football sites could also see New Orleans bringing in some linebackers in free agency and drafting a couple of good offensive linemen as well. The Saints were a disorganized mess in 2012, but it still managed to string together some interesting wins. With the kind of guidance that Sean Payton has always offered, and the right kinds of player personnel moves in the offseason, the Saints could pull itself back into a position of playoff contention in 2013.

Indianapolis Colts

It may not look too impressive to examine the Colts’ 2012 season and predict great things for the team in 2013, but this team is just too good to ignore. The other thing about the Colts is that the team can only get better. Look for the Colts to make wholesale changes on defense similar to the ones it made last offseason on offense. A completely revamped Indianapolis team with a quarterback like Andrew Luck, who now has one year of pro experience under his belt, could be a very dangerous team.
