ARJEL AWARDS LICENCE TO WSOP.FR

The French online gaming regulator ARJEL has granted LB Poker a licence to operate the domain WSOP.fr.
 
The award of the licence follows the announcement of an alliance between Caesars Interactive Entertainment, Inc., Lucien Barrière Hôtels & Casinos and BarrierePoker.fr which will see the 2011 World Series of Poker Europe move from London to Cannes.

BarrierePoker.fr is operated by former French state monopoly La Francaise des Jeux and Lucien Barrière.
 
The WSOP.fr site will present the latest WSOP news and information in French for the first time and is expected to debut later this year.
