The Full Tilt Online Poker Series XIX (FTOPS) main event set a record for the largest prize pool in its history drawing a field of 14 479, all in it for a share of a prize pool approaching one that is normally found in major land poker championships such as the WSOP of $8 687 400.00.
The multi-entry $600+$40 buy-in no limit hold'em event allowed players to register up to six times.
The main event came down to a three-way deal between Blair "blur5f6” Hinkle, GIAMPP and SirMad where Hinkle, with a commanding chip lead, was guaranteed a seven figure pay-cheque but finally finished runner-up with a massive $1 162 949.74.
GIAMPP who won the event pocketed $877 949.74 and SirMad in third $805 440.26.
