Online poker fans will be clicking over to the Full Tilt Poker site today (Sunday) for the start of the 24th edition of the popular Full Tilt Poker Online Poker Series (FTOPS), which this year carries $8 million in guaranteed prizes over 39 events.
Running through to December 8, the latest in the series is expected to again draw large crowds eager to compete and win.
Making its debut this series is a new inducement for players to fight their way to the top of the leader board – a six month Black Card Pro sponsorship from Full Tilt.
Marketing chief Same Lightman explains: “For the first time ever, the winner of the FTOPS Leaderboards will be offered a six-month Black Card Pro sponsorship contract; we expect the competition to be fierce and for a very worthy champion to emerge!”
The tournament schedule is as always diverse, but includes many firm favorites, such as a $635 buy-in Main Event on December 8, carrying a guaranteed prize pool of $1.5 million.
