Wednesday October 31, 2012 : FULL TILT GOES LIVE WITH PLAY MONEY GAMES AHEAD OF HARD LAUNCH

Beta testing to ensure a smooth launch

Full Tilt Poker went live today  a week ahead of its scheduled official re-launch on November 6.

The online poker firm is offering play-money games, allowing players to log-in, view their account balances and FTP points for the first time in 16 months since U.S. authorities shut it down.

The Full Tilt website encourages existing clients to upgrade their software and select a new password and offers a PokerStars account pairing function along with preferred seat selection and double and triple chance tournament play.

A company statement said the early play-money launch is a beta test to ensure "everything is running smoothly".

Cashier services will be available from official launch on November 6, 2012 and French, Spanish, Italian, Belgian, Danish and Estonian players will not be eligible for real-money play until owner PokerStars, working through those countries regulators, has cleared outstanding balances said Shyam Markus, Full Tilt poker room manager in an interview with online poker information portal PokerFuse.
