ALDERNEY HEARING ON FULL TILT DATE CONFIRMED

Wednesday July 13, 2011 : London venue for public enquiry

The Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC) has confirmed that the hearing into the suspension of Full Tilt Poker's licence will take place at 10am on Tuesday 26 July at London's Park Plaza Victoria Hotel.

André Wilsenach, executive director of the AGCC, said in a statement this week: “AGCC’s choice to hold a public hearing into the future of Full Tilt Poker demonstrates our willingness to act transparently, and we will welcome members of the public and the media. As ever, and at all times, our primary concern is the protection of the player.”

The AGCC suspended Full Tilt's licence last (June) month following indictments by the US Department of Justice against individuals associated with Full Tilt, Pokerstars and Absolute Poker, and FTP's “subsequent failure to satisfy AGCC that its activities inside and outside the US were in order.”
