Sunday February 2 ,2014 : FULL TILT POKER CLAIMS ABOUT TO REACH AFFILIATES?

Administrator contacts thousands of affiliate marketer claimants.

Garden City Group, the administrator contracted by the US Department of Justice to assess and manage claims against Full Tilt Poker following its shutdown by the authorities in 2011, has now turned its attention to the thousands of affiliate marketer claims after dealing with the first tranche of player submissions.

On Friday GCG disclosed that some 8,400 affiliate marketers on the FTP books had been contacted, and the claiming process explained as per its website, where notifications provide "…information and instructions for participating in the petition process."

GCG has also advised affiliates that pay-outs will be calculated on the final balance in the petitioner's account with FTP as of April 15, 2011, less any affiliate promotions or affiliate transfers to the petitioner.

The GCG deadline for affiliate petitions is March 2 2014

Amounts owed by FTP to professional players are still subject to review. GCG addresses the issue on its FTP claims website with a notice advising:

"Please be advised that a review is still underway concerning those players who were flagged by FTP as Pros. Once this review is complete, a separate notice will be sent to Pros who are deemed eligible to file a petition for remission and they will have 30 days from the date of the notice to file a petition."
