Due to legal constraints, Full Tilt Poker – now part of the Rational Group of companies and a sister to Pokerstars – has been experiencing problems in finding an acceptable way to pay Italian players outstanding balances from the Black Friday debacle
 
In its deal with the US Department of Justice, Rational agreed to independently pay non-US players and has been successful in doing so, but the company encountered legal and licensing obstacles in Italy and has had to devise a mechanism to compensate for these constraints.
 
Its solution is Full Tilt Mania, a promotion in which some Euro 2 million has been invested in cash game, SNG and MTT action over the next few months on the Pokerstars.it dedicated website.
