FULL TILT BIDS WASHINGTON FAREWELL

Residents of Washington State will no longer be able to play real money poker at Full Tilt

Full Tilt Poker has blocked Washington State located players access to its real money site.  Play will be blocked even to those who are visiting the State; however, resident players would be able to access the real money tables if they played from outside Washington State.

Full Tilt's decision follows PokerStars lead, who blocked players located in the State after the Washington Supreme Court upheld the online gambling ban last month.

Full Tilt Poker has posted a "Washington State FAQ" on its website to assist players.  The FAQ advises Washington State residents who are currently playing in Full Tilt Poker real-money tournaments or are registered for ones in the future to deregister themselves as they will be unable to participate in any way in the tournaments.  Washington State residents who have real-money account balances can withdraw their balance via the Cashier or, keep them intact if they plan to play for real money when outside Washington State.

The FAQ encourages players to become members of the Poker Players Alliance to "make their feelings known" and to help facilitate a change in the current legal situation in Washington State with regard to online poker.
