Monday, October 24, 2011 : More casualties in the fall of Full Tilt Poker

Pocket Kings, a subsidiary of beleaguered Full Tilt Poker, has embarked on a redundancy programme involving 180 Dublin-based employees, according to the Irish Times.

Company employees were reportedly offered statutory redundancies towards the end of last week with Pocket Kings citing restructuring as a result of the loss of US and European revenues as reason for the action.

Pocket Kings employ approximately five hundred people who are responsible for management, customer support services, software and information technology for Full Tilt Poker.

An announcement from Pocket Kings in September warned employees of a redundancy programme that would affect up to 250 staff members.
