Galaxy Casino Group threatens Webmasters

"We will come after you," Galaxy Group threatens brand burglars.
 
The Galaxy Entertainment land gambling group issued a stern warning to online imitators who infringe its trademarks and brands this week – back off or we will take action against you.
 
In a public statement the group claimed that illegal betting websites are using its name, mark, images and hotline in order to mislead or defraud the public.
 
"Galaxy Entertainment Group Limited and its subsidiaries and all of our properties, including Galaxy Macau, StarWorld Macau Hotel and Broadway Macau have no affiliation with any online gambling and betting site nor have we authorised any website, company or person of any origin to solicit, carry out or promote any form of online gambling and betting activities for and on behalf of the Group," the statement asserted.
 
Galaxy is preparing the launch of the second phase of its Galaxy Macau resort and Broadway Macau resort in May.
 
This is the second warning to online brand and trade mark infringers that the famous group has issued; last August it published a similar threat to pursue any unlawful use of its intellectual property.
 
Another major land operator, the Las Vegas and Macau-based Las Vegas Sands group, has also warned off trademark and brand infringers, and recently won a $2.2 million judicial judgement against Asian webmasters
