  • Sylvia Coleman (55) was appointed to the board of online gambling group bwin.party digital entertainment as an independent non-executive director.
  • Senior bwin.party digital entertainment execs, Alen Lang – business development chief, Tod Martin – technology director and Steve Heller – chief executive of the World Poker Tour subsidiary, will leave the company following cost-cutting measures.
  • Bodog Asia appointed Greg Fermont to the position chief operating officer and Izhar Biran to the position Marketing Operations Director.
  • Online poker industry veteran Jonas Ödman stepped down as President of the Bodog Poker Network (BPN).
  • Playtech appointed Adele Lawton in the position Commercial Director and Dan Wiegenfeld in the newly created executive position managing social gaming operations.
  • GSN Digital appointed Jeff Anderson as Senior Vice President, Strategic Planning and Business Development.
  • David Loveday, chief executive officer of Openbet abruptly left his role and was quickly replaced by Jeremy Thompson-Hill – formerly the chief operating officer and a company veteran with 13 years’ service to his credit.
  • Johanna Backholm (36) was appointed deputy chief executive officer by the Paf board.
  • Stefano Bortoli, chief executive of Italian gaming giant SNAI, left the company after only 18 months in the hot seat.
  • UK Gambling Commission appointed two new members – Robert Foster and Mary Chapman, who already hold commissioner roles at the National Lottery Commission.
  • Tipp24 SE appointed Dr Helmut Becker (44) to the position Chief Marketing Officer.
  • mybet Holding SE (formerly JAXX SE) supervisory board member Rodolfo Carpintier Santana resigned for personal reasons while Rainer Jacken will prematurely surrender office on the mybet Holding SE Supervisory board, also due to personal reasons.
  • WMS Gaming appointed Anatoly "Tony" Belkin (51) to the position of chief technology officer and vice president engineering, succeeding Laurie Lesseter, who will continue with the company as executive technology advisor with a focus on special projects.
  • Konami Gaming Inc. appointed Mark Morton as regional sales director, corporate region.  Morton joins the company from the position of senior director of Nevada area sales at WMS Gaming.
  • Head of the American Gaming Association Frank Fahrenkopf was replaced by former US Travel Association exec Geoff Freeman.
  • The Bulgarian Finance Ministry has appointed Ivan Enicherov as head of its State Gambling Commission, succeeding Kaloyan Krastev.
  • Betfair plc appointed Peter Jackson as a non-executive director and a member of its audit committee but lost its head of legal affairs and company secretary, Martin Cruddace, after nine years of service.
  • Director General of Spain's online gambling directorate DGOJ, Enrique Alejo (54) departed to take up a post as CEO at Spanish television company RTVE.  His successor was named as deputy director Carlos Hernández Riera.
  • GigaMedia Limited appointed Ronald Ho as chief operating officer of its Fun Town online games business.
  • Paul Leggett, former chief operating officer at Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet, was appointed to head Amaya Gaming's online operations.
  • Social casino game’s company Playsino named former vice-president of International Game Technology's Interactive division Alex Kelly as its chief executive officer.
  • Ladbrokes' Customer Experience Director Stephen Vowles resigned.
  • Mario Galea is back in the regulatory saddle at the Lotteries and Gaming Authority in Malta as Chairman.
  • The Weather Lottery acquired Poseve Ltd for GBP 350,000 in an all-shares deal, and named Phil Jackson – chairman of the controversial Media Corp plc internet gambling group, as its CEO.
  • GameAccount strengthened its North American team with the hire of 46-year-old Julius Patta as regional president.
  • Sportingbet's Group Marketing and Sales position under the leadership of Director Richard Howarth was made redundant following the group's acquisition by William Hill.
  • Mobile game developer Glu Mobile announced the departure of its Global Chief Technology Officer Kal Iyer.
  • Mark Buser was appointed director of social gaming at PokerStars.
  • Luke Brill was appointed to head up Betfred’s Australian operations.
  • Paddy Power has recruited fresh marketing blood with the appointment of former John Lewis brand marketing manager Anna Braithwaite; along with Harry Dromey, a former account director at Beattie McGuiness Bungay.
  • European online dating firm Global Personals Ltd has appointed Pil-Jeong Oh as Head of Gaming, part of company’s expansion strategy into online gaming.
  • Redbet Gaming Ltd, recently acquired by the Bonnier Group, appointed Alexis Wicén as its acting Managing Director.
