OCTOBER 1, 2012 TO FEBRUARY 28, 2013

Rank Group Plc (Rank) appointed Smarta.com founder and digital media specialist Shaa Wasmund to the board as non-executive director with effect from November 1, 2012.

Former Gala Coral chief executive Dominic Harrison was appointed to GamCare's Board of Trustees effective November 2012.

European online gambling group Betway appointed Paul Burton as Head of Payments, Risk and Processing.   The firm also hired Bob Dutnall as executive director of its Guernsey branch.  Dutnall joined Betway from the position of managing director of Sportingbet’s European operation.

Aristocrat appointed top industry game developers, Daniel Marks and Scott Olive, who will work exclusively for Aristocrat on a third-party basis.

Cozy Games appointed Lucy Owen as its Commercial Account & Project Management Director.

Churchill Downs Inc. appointed James E. “Ted” Gay as president of Churchill Downs Interactive comprising Twinspires.com, Luckity.com and Bluff Media.

GTECH Corporation appointed Matteo Monteverdi as Senior Vice-President of iGaming.

International Game Technology promoted Darrell Rodriguez to the newly created position of Chief Creative Officer.

Scientific Games’ newly formed subsidiary SG Gaming which consolidated Barcrest, Games Media and The Global Draw appointed Steve Frater as executive Chairman, Ian Timmis as chief executive officer, Robert White as chief operating officer and Gareth Phillips as chief technology officer.

Other appointments over the review period included Gareth Taylor as client services manager and John Docherty as director of sales.

Ian Timmis subsequently resigned after a short four months in the position and Phil Horne assumed the newly created role of Group Managing Director.

William Hill Online’s chief executive officer, Henry Birch stepped down.  Andrew Lee was appointed Managing Director and Jamie Hart was assigned to the new role of Director of Customer Experience and Innovation.  Jürgen Reutter assumed the Head of Mobile role vacated by Andrew Lee.

Nevada Gaming Control Board appointed Terry Johnson as director of Nevada Department of Business and Industry and A.G. Burnett as chairman of the Nevada Gaming Control Board replacing Mark Lipparelli.

Baroness Denise Kingsmill stepped down for the Board of the Betfair Group.  Director Peter Marcus left the firm.  Alexander Gersh was appointed chief financial officer and executive director as successor to Stephen Morana

Argentinean online games developer Leander Games appointed Steven Matsell to the position of chief executive officer.

BetClic Everest Group subsidiary Bet-At-Home’s co-founder Jochen Dickinger stepped down as co-chief executive officer.  Michael Quatember was appointed his successor.

The company’s chief executive officer Ignacio Martos resigned and Isabelle Andres, (formerly the group's chief financial officer) was named his successor.

London-based mobile technology firm Mfuse appointed Paul Galbraith to the role of Business Development Director.

Zynga Inc's general manager responsible for its social poker offering, Laurence "Lo" Toney, left the firm.

Zynga reshuffled its executive team appointing Mark Vranesh as chief financial officer, David Ko as chief operations officer, Barry Kottle as chief revenue officer and Steven Chiang as president of games.

Betable appointed former vice-president of Zynga's mobile division Ya-Bing Chu as its Chief Product Officer along with former Zynga exec Jonathan Flesher as executive vice president of business development.

French operator Pari Mutuel Urbain announced the appointment of Mylène Collin as Director of Human Resources and member of the Management Committee.

Bally Technologies, Inc’s Chief Operating Officer Ramesh Srinivasan will take up the position of President and Chief Executive Officer and Board Member at year end succeeding Richard M. Haddrill who will become Chairman of the Board.  Ron Jeffrey was appointed managing director of Bally Australia.

Sportech PLC Finance Director Steve Cunliffe resigned his position after six-years with the firm to pursue other business interests.

Chief executive officer of Media Corporation PLC, the owner of the now defunct Purple Lounge, Adam Harris resigned.  Phil Jackson will assume the role of executive chairman until a successor has been appointed.

Mark Butt resigned from Media Corp’s board following the placing into administration of Eyeconomy Ltd.

Caesars Entertainment Corporation appointed Donald Colvin as executive vice president and chief financial officer following the departure of Jonathan Halkyard in May 2012.

SHFL Entertainment Inc appointed Nick Gabriel to the position Head of Online Gaming.

Bodog Asia appointed Torbjorn Wallin in the newly created role of Chief Digital Marketing Officer for the Bodog brand.

GigaMedia appointed Mo-Na Chien as chairman, replacing outgoing chairman Michael Ding.   Collin Hwang was appointed chief executive officer following the resignation of John Stringer.

Tote Ireland Limited announced the appointment of Tim Higgins as its new chief executive officer.

Konami Gaming employed former executive vice-president of marketing and chief marketing officer at Aruze Gaming America Steve Walther in the position of director, games product management.  Matt Reback was appointed as senior director of marketing.

Andy McLellan resigned his position as chief executive of GamCare.

Tote and pools operator Sportech PLC appointed David Schreff (57) as chief operational officer responsible for the US and Latin American markets.

Amaya Gaming Group appointed Ben Soave and Dr. Aubrey Zidenberg as advisors to the company's board of directors.

bwin.party Digital Entertainment co-chief executive officer Jim Ryan announced his retirement.  Chief operating officer Joachim Baca stepped down from the board of directors to bring the board’s composition into compliance with the UK Corporate Governance Code.

Playtech plc director David Mathewson resigned.  Ron Hoffman was appointed group finance manager moving from a position of vice-president of finance.

London-based Hippodrome Casino appointed George Constantinou as director of online operations in advance of the company's forthcoming partnership deal with Pokerstars.com

Pokerstars appointed poker player, author and commentator, Lee Jones as its head of poker communications, reporting to the parent group's head of corporate communications, Eric Hollreiser.

Paddy Power plc appointed Ulric Jerome as a new non-executive director, and as a member of the firm's Audit Committee.

Paddy Power’s management of retail operations in the UK and Ireland will be combined under Andy McCue, who presently heads UK Retail operations in a company reorganization.

Charlie Kelly appointed as Head of Irish Retail and Dan Thomson appointed Head of UK Retail.

NeoGames International Limited promoted Ilan Rosen to serve as its new chief executive officer.

UK Responsible Gambling Strategy Board chairman, Sir Brian Pomeroy was replaced by Sir Christopher Kelly.

Betting Promotion Sweden AB’s deputy chief executive officer – Par Timby and chief technology officer – Christian Malmros resigned.  Jonas Ornstein was appointed chief executive officer.

Tipp24 SE subsidiary Tipp24 UK Ltd appointed Paul Witten as managing director and head of business development in a newly created position.  The company further made two appointments to its executive board naming Andreas Keil as chief financial officer and Dr Hans Cornehl as Executive Board Chairman.

Robert Chvata, the former md of T-Mobile Austria, has accepted appointment as chief executive officer of the embattled Czech lottery company Sazka SA.

Rational Group appointed former Playtech exec Rafi Ashkenazi to the position of chief operating officer.

Former Bally Interactive exec Michael Daly was appointed vice president of online gaming at SHFL Entertainment.

Software developer Iforium Limited appointed Phil Parry as chief executive officer as company founder Craig Osborne assumes the role of chief technical officer.

Probability plc hired Qurban Hussain, formerly head of commercial finance for Betfair plc, as its new Chief Financial Officer

Zynga chief gaming designer Brian Reynolds resigned his post.

Sportech plc appointed Cliff Baty (42) as chief financial officer.

States of Alderney appointed Lord Faulkner of Worcester as a member of the Alderney Gambling Control Commission.

Swedish online casino Mr Green appointed Marcus Nylén as its new chief executive officer and Henrik Svensson in the role chief marketing officer.

Z4 Gaming appointed John English as senior vice president of business development and public relations (formerly employed by American Wagering).

Samer Raghep was appointed marketing director for social gaming firm Plumbee.

Betgenius appointed former bwin.party Digital Entertainment’s head of trading Markku Kolehmainen in the newly created position of Trading Director.

Donaco International Limited, formerly Two Way Limited, appointed Keong Yew ‘Joey' Lim to fill the position of managing director.

Svenska Spel's PlayScan AB appointed Andreas Holmstrom as successor to Ann-Sofie Olsson in the role of chief executive officer.

Aristocrat employed top games developer Joe Kaminkow in the position senior vice president of games development.  He joined Aristocrat from a position at International Game Technology.
