New Movie For Asian Gamblers

"God of Gamblers" producer launches "From Vegas to Macau".
 
Hong Kong actor Chow Yun Fat reprises his role as the "God of Gamblers", a man with impossible skill and good fortune at the gambling tables, in a new movie titled "From Vegas to Macau" and directed by local director Wong Jing, according to reports in various Hong Kong media.
 
The movie was due to premiere over the weekend in Hong Kong, and reviews are currently awaited.
 
The late-eighties original "God of Gambling" was a popular production in Asian countries, although the producers say the new movie is not necessarily a sequel, but instead has a new story-line and different characters, along with a comedic element and a host of beautiful women.
 
“From Vegas to Macau”, also stars Nicholas Tse, Chapman To, Kimmy Tong and Jing Tian, and is currently scheduled for release during the Lunar New Year period next year.
