Final tabler in PCA Super High Roller event donates his $286,000 in winnings to families of Newtown shooting victims

Kudos to Greg Jansen, a keen poker player with a big heart who has donated his $286,000 in winnings from a fifth placing at the Pokerstars Caribbean Adventure Super High Roller tournament to the families of victims of the Newtown school massacre in the United States.

Jansen, who in professional life is a high-flying executive with the Bridgewater Associated hedge fund group, was given the $100,000 buy-in to the event by a colleague as a birthday present, and managed to turn it into a fifth placing at the final table and a take-home of $286,000, all of which he has now pledged to those less fortunate and bereaved.
