Tuesday April 7,2015 : GTECH COMPLETES IGT ACQUISITION (Update)

Renamed International Game Technology PLC

GTECH confirmed the completion of its cross-border merger with International Game Technology PLC (IGT) followed immediately by the acquisition of the U.S.-based IGT effective today (Tuesday).

The combined companies will now be known as International Game Technology PLC (IGT PLC) with corporate headquarters in London, and operating headquarters in Rome, Italy; Providence, Rhode Island; and Las Vegas, Nevada, the company statement said.

IGT PLC shares will commence trading today, 7 April 2015 on the New York Stock Exchange.
