Gtech to Provide New Lottery System

10/31/10 – GTech to provide new lottery system and support services through June 2024 Lottomatica Group S.p.A announced that its subsidiary, GTECH Global Services Corporation has signed a 12 year contract with France's national lottery operator, La Francaise Des Jeux this week.

GTECH will replace the existing system with its Enterprise Series solution and is expected to go live in 2010. GTECH will continue to provide ongoing support services including central system support and maintenance.

The deal is expected to generate EURO 23 million in revenue for GTECH who has provided lottery products and services to FDJ since 2000. Jaymin B. Patel, GTECH president said "As FDJ continues to grow, it will have the tools necessary to support an increasing volume of transactions from multiple points-of-sale while maintaining the highest levels of security, service quality, and integrity.”
