Software reveals player card information and compromises player data
 
Three men who attempted to buy hacking programs were indicted this week, Korean authorities said today.
 
The three were reportedly planning on selling the Hacking Two software, which reveals other players card information and comprises each players’ data, to an online gambling operator for illicit use.
 
The remote-controlled surveillance programme, allegedly used for the cyber attacks against Korean companies and government agencies last year, was being distributed via peer-to-peer sites in the hopes of raising interest from online gambling site operators, reported the Korean Herald.
 
"They were in pursuit of monetary gain and money alone, not caring a bit that what they did compromised national cyber security. We will continue to go after those who funnel money illegally into North Korea," a prosecutor said.
